Just wanted to put a plug in for a product I used on my cabinet and liked - SPAX screws. http://www.spax.com/usa/spax.htm I used 3/4 MDF and some pine ledgers. I didn't need to pre-drill any of the holes. I didn't use any glue. I didn't have any breakage in the MDF and no splitting on the pine. It also seems very secure so far....time will tell a little better. Just my .02 for anyone looking for suggestions. Steve O. |

I'd always use glue in addition to screws with MDF. -- Chris |
