Advice on RED trackballs
« on: June 25, 2005, 07:27:01 pm »
I bought one of those red replacement translucent balls that look orange when not lit. Anyone know where to get a proper RED that looks RED when lit and RED when unlit? Bob Roberts is all out of "cherry" and I got this orangish one from him.

It must be NEW (3"). I already have a used RED red. Or advice on how to polish the old one? (I do not have access to a bowling ball polisher)

I bought a brand new Happs red translucent. They look gorgeous lit, but definitely look orange when not. Just giving you a brand to scratch off the list.

Red pool ball maybe? Or would one not fit/be opaque enough?

Yeah, I got the same one...and I'd like it to be red....someone pointed me here:

They sell juggling balls....same size..and they're really translucent....That's where I'm going.....

If you get one of these, report back how well it holds up.
