Well, its been mentioned in previous threads about this gun that the 3 point tracking system sounded like it would struggle with accuracy.... so I suspect if you were unhappy with the console version, the pc version may not be different - but we won't really know untill it comes out. It appears they are re-designing it too, which is a surprise as the current model already has a USB connection and works with the Xbox... On the plus side, some reports says its ok for general use, and it should also be able to track in real time (the display device is completely irrelevant) so it could be used for light gun games as well as "joystick" based light gun games like Terminator 2 and others. Personally I'm hoping one of the open source projects for tracking items with a USB camera is developed more so that it tracks a known object from multiple points. This would hugely improve accuracy as well as remove several repeat-calibration problems..... |
