I recommend buying one of every tool and trying each one until you get the result you are after.

you can buy a jigsaw for $30-$35 at home depot.... and a circular saww for about the same... buy the correct blade for whatever your application and you'll be fine.... a good drill might cost a bit more.. but it can be used for a million things... i am partial to my craftsman 19.2volt.....

I cut my 1st panles out with a brand new laser line jigsaw and wasnt happy with the results. I bought some more material and as I didnt have a circular saw I used a handsaw and produced perfect cuts.
