tried homebase and Focus and they both had identical stuff, none of the one u mentioned! >:(
but i remembered that ive got an old control panel lying around so Im gonna use used wire, just because I know they are the right ones! :P

I guess we are just plain spoiled in the US in terms of being able to source items for various hobbies, home improvement, and other activities......I mean, finding wire should not be such a chore.
Combine the multitude of retail and supply house locations with the fact that the primary distribution for Mouser Electronics is based here locally and there's not much that can't be found.
I hope you are able to source what you need so you can proceed with your project. Its frustrating when you know what you need to do but dont have the parts to do it.

Lots of people use Cat 5 (ethernet) cable. It's a solild core, but it ought to work just fine. Lots of people here have used it with great success. You should be able to find that just about anywhere.

Yeah that was my 1st choice but they only had it in 50m lenghts at B&Q. I could probably have found shorter lenghts somewhere else but I was eager to get on with my CP, thats why I opted for the alarm wire.
