I'll have to try the registry stuff when I get home tonight. Thanks. --- End quote --- The 1st time I got it sorted using a new epprom. the 2nd time I thought it was happening again. Basically the drivers had got corrupted. I just unistalled the device & plugged it back in. Windows installed the drivers again & all is good now |

I read on the Ultimarc site that the problem can be caused by frequently swithing the USB port the device is connected to. That's a possibility as I recently reworked the control panel to replace all the crimped connections with soldered connections. I also moved :) That means it's possible that the CP was moved to at least 2 new USB ports. dot |

I completely overlooked looking at the control panel in windows (device manager) or that would have tipped me off right away. I think sometimes you forget that your control panel is being recognized by the computer as a keyboard and will show up there. --- End quote --- --- End quote --- |

Mine does not work either (USB) - I have to reprogram it every time. I contacted Andy some time ago and he said to ship it back to England due to a bad EEPROM. I figured by the payed for overseas shipping again and then went through all the hours of rewiring it I would have spent more time/money than it was worth. I now have the IPAC panel on autoboot, so I just press the program button once it comes up and then start up MAMEWAH. Doc- |
