The KeyWiz Eco is THE way to go. I just installed a KeyWiz Max and really like it a lot. I highly recommend Randy's goods. Not that I have used a bunch, but what I have used I like. Good Luck Kev~ |

It would probably make more sense to go with the uncluttered 2 button setup rather than installing 2 extra buttons for a game you are never going to play. Even if you do want to play it, you still can simply by mapping the start buttons as buttons 3 and 4 (buttons 2 through 4 hardly ever get used in Mouse Trap). --- End quote --- I really meant, just 2 buttons on the cp, and then 1 for start and 1 for coin. I may even just use the "shazaaam" function for coin. Thanks for the posts. Has anyone used the kb16 though? I'd be interested to know the best way to install them... |

I've tested the KB16, as has RetroBlast, it can work (for your setup), but you would want to wire Button 2 to Button 3 on the KB16, Wire 1P Start and Coin 1 as indicated, Wire Escape to Button 5 and Pause to Button 7 (if you wanted these) and then re-program the unit to match. My question is why you would want to go through this much hassle when a KeyWiz Eco is less money and supports 32 inputs and 20 shifted inputs, software reprogramming, etc, without all of this hassle? My KB16 test is here - http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,37906.0.html |
