Virtua Fighter 4 runs on NAOMI2 hardware. It is available in both GD-ROM and cartridge form. The NAOMI1 and NAOMI2 systems are a variant of JAMMA+ known as JVS. It has a different pinout and supports monitors at both 15 and 31Khz. NAOMI uses a stereo system via sound amp, etc. The native video output for NAOMI is VGA. You can purchase JAMMA I/O's like the CAPCOM I/O which will allow you to put a NAOMI system in a JAMMA cab. The NAOMI uses 3.3v. 5v, and 12v supplied from specialized power supply. With the use of the CAPCOM I/O mentioned above it will step down and provide the NAOMI mobo with the 3.3v it needs from a standard JAMMA switching power supply. Hopefully this answer some questions and I didn't ramble too much. It's been a long weekend. 8) Oh and BTW here's what it would cost approximately to have Virtua Fighter 4 in a JAMMA cab. NAOMI2 mobo $500 CAPCOM I/O $200 VF4 cart $200 If you wanted it in GD-ROM flavor the game would cost $100 but the GD-ROM drive will set ya back another $300 -Goz |
