From what I got from the game consoles section of this site, I can just hook up my systems to my pc monitor using component cables (so that instead of doing the same with a tv, its now with a monitor). Will this actually work? It seems to easy ;) |

Well its not quite that easy. As the Computer Monitor doesnt have a port for Component cables to connect. As such, you need a device called a transcoder to do it. Personally though I would go the route of X2RGB. Its 200 bucks, but its the best device for the job. |

Thanks for the help :) |

The VD-Z3 would be able to connect all 3 consoles to a pc monitor. I was looking at purchasing it a while ago and read that the quality is very good. Not sure on the differences with the X2RGB, but it's only $60. Depends on your budget.... http://www.vdigi.com/ |

hmm, it seems that the VD-Z3 only supports proggressive scan games :-\, so if I'm playing a game that doesn't support it, I'll get nothing on my screen. For those that have it, is this true? Also, I would love to get the xrgb-2+, but its sort of out of my budget :( I was looking into getting this for my ps2 and gc (x2vga for my xbox): http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=219&products_id=3235& My question is though, is the d-terminal connection for my gc/ps2 150$$ better than the tv s-video quality (what the product in the link will display it seems, not the best, but better than average)? |
