can i play neogeo MVS games on a jamma cab

It's not going to cost you that much, a 1 slot NeoGeo motherboard won't set you back much and essentially it IS JAMMA. There are a couple of differences that will only affect some PCB's. When I had my NeoGeo I just unplugged the MVS and plugged in PCB's no problems.

Sound issues, neo geo uses a ground on the speakers that will make other boards have no sound.

so what if i plug an MVS cart into a Jamma cab, would i get the same problem?

If you plugged a neo geo pcb in a jamma cab it won't have any sound(or low sound) , you would have to take a ground to the speaker.
