Good deal?

You actually need a whole chassis, and truthfully there is a chance the tube is bad as well.

I'd try an 8-liners chassis for it.

HaRuMaN:

The tube is good, according to the seller, it just needs the new chassis.    I'm gonna look inside the cabinet, and try to get some info off the monitor.  The tube itself looks good from what I can see.  Grey all over, and no brown spots.

paigeoliver:

Ok, just realize that working 25" chassis are not as easy to come by as ones for 19" monitors. In general a missing chassis pretty much means you need a whole working monitor, as there is usually no price difference between a working chassis and a working monitor (all the value is in the chassis, people throw tubes away left and right, I have personally chucked a dozen of them in the past few years).

HaRuMaN:

What about a chassis from 8-liners?  Are they good?  How much would that run?

I would hope it would be cheaper to go that route rather than get a whole new 25" monitor.

tmasman:

It's probably a K7000 Wells Gardner monitor...
I 've had a couple of Midway cabs with Zenith Tubes...

He's in the Dallas, TX area, but he's been a great guy & does chasis work.
I think the last time I talked to his he had a chasis for a WG K7000 for around $95 + shipping.
