| Nefesis:
Hi. Will probably be wiring up my cabinet today after many months of inactivity, and was wondering how to thread the wire through the microswitch. I am using an I-PAC with controls from Ultimarc, and was wondering if I just thread the wire through the little holes at the ends of the metal parts coming out of the switches. I have attached a picture showing this. Thanks! |

You either crimp your STRANDED wire into a quick disconnect. You would use a red one, female at that, of 3/16" size. Or you can just solder your wire to the tab, in which case any type of wire will do. |

... though if you solder, and you're bad at soldering, an dyou heat up the tab for too long, you will melt stuff. :D |

I'd vote for the quick disconnect option, as you will likely end up having to desolder too many connections when you decide to rearrange your panel later. :-) -- Chris |

Microwitches should never be wired. They should be burned at very small stakes! (Use disconnects) |
