Good lord, what kind of sick twisted tycoon would want to convert a Star Wars machine!? Star Wars is a great game, why anyone would want to convert it into something else is beyond my comprehension! :( And what kind of moron converts a Star Wars machine into a Ninja Turtles machine? I love the Ninja Turtles games, but I can't understand why anyone would try to convert one out of Star Wars! It looks almost un-playable. I wish whoever owned that thing would try and restore it to it's original Star Wars state, even if it means getting new artwork printed up. Good luck restoring that thing though. |

The monitor probably died and he didn't have parts on hand or could get them cheaply. |

Thanks for the definitive answer on the upright/cockpit bezel question. And thanks for the words of encouragement on my Hydra/Star Wars restoration. They'll help me get motivated to start stipping the other side. It's a real pain, but the side I did turned out better than I expected it to. And now a question for those who have removed decals before... I have another Hydra sticker to remove from the other side, and I was wondering if I should use a heat gun to try to melt some of the glue to make it easier to peel off. In the picture above you can see a small white patch where the Hydra sticker pulled off the black paint and the Star Wars art beneath. I'd like to avoid that happening again. I didn't do anything to try to loosen it though, I just pulled it off dry. Any hints? |

No, DON'T use a heat gun. Your other side came out darn good, don't change strategies now, tossing a heat gun into the mix might lift the star wars sideart off as well. |

Wouldn't the goof off your using to remove the paint also dissolve the sticker glue? I'm not sure if you could lift a corner and use your goof off to peel it from the cabinet or not. |
