A couple of months ago I picked up a Hydra cabinet, mainly so I could use the Hydra yoke as a Star Wars controller in MAME, but also because it looked like a Star Wars cabinet that had been converted to Hydra. It was missing the monitor and bezel. I've since stipped the black paint from one side and have confirmed that it is a Star Wars cabinet. Now the only original (non-repro) part that I think I need is a Star Wars bezel. My question is... can I use the bezel from a Star Wars cockpit cabinet in my Star Wars upright cabinet? There is a cockpit bezel on ebay right now, but I wouldn't want to buy it if it won't work in my upright cabinet. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=13718&item=6180149353&rd=1 Thanks for any insight. |

Here's what I've got after stripping one side of my cabinet with Goof Off. |

Man what a shame to paint over that artwork. I'm glad you were able to save it. Sorry can't help you on the benzel issue. |

The answer is NO. None of the art pieces from the cockpit fit the upright (other than the yoke itself). Shouldn't be too tough of an item to find, as a LOT of Star Wars machines have been parted out recently (due to the fact that yoke+monitor=entire value of game). |

Doesn't it feel good to find pretty decent artwork under shite paint?? Well done! |
