huh...wanna make the community steel handles for the happs 49-way?  randy says he's doing it, and slikstik said they would months ago, but no one has shown up with a product, and you could make them relatively special order, canceling out the need for adjustable sticks, which is what randy does best.

Cant see this being too much of a problem. Just means I would have to buy in some more material, Ive just been using my personall steel so far. How much did Randy / Christian quote you, I dont want to give you a price that would be too high.

Send me some dimensions and Ill find out how much I can get some stainless for. How much interest do you think there would likely be? The more I make means the cheaper they would be, both in machining time and material.

well, you/we might just start a new thread, if this is indeed something you can make a part file for and machine right out.  i don't think either quoted prices due to the fact that neither has gotten around to making any, but you could check out randy's steel joystick prices and slikstiks prices, although slikstik is a bit expensive.

if everything come's out right, i might even be interested in another stick that i'd be the only buyer for (a williams 49-way stick).

IntruderAlert:

Franco,
Could you fabricate solid stainless steel 3" trackball rollers?

Okay. Ill get some material prices over the next few days and then start a thread if its viable. Bat tops will be the preferable design to make. Ill look into ball tops depending upon demand. I also made the stainless joys for my Happ Rotaries that you can see at the top of the thread. I also have a spare pair which I may be willing to sell.

No problem. Send me the dimensions and quantity and Ill get a price for you. I actually made some Ms Pac man shafts for another board member which look similar to the rollers so they will be no problem what so ever as long as they are not too small.
