Ray, it does, and then from there it goes to the keyboard pcb to generate a keypress, so therefore needs to be the correct volts and amps so as not to kill the keyboard, but the fingerboard just being a medium to solder to will not reduce or change the power rating so therefore the circuit is surely needed to drop the power to a suitable range? I totally admit i know little to nothing about this side of things and that is why i am seeking advice, but from my understanding what i propose should work just fine providing the correct volatage and ampage is sent to the keyboard either via the fingerboard or direct from the credit control unit. |
