ScummVM in Mamewah ?

Is there any reports on somehow getting ScummVM integrated in Mamewah? Would be great to play the old classics like Day of the Tentacle and such... But having a mouse/keyboard by the arcade machine to launch svummvm is unacceptal!

Searched the forum and google. Not much  :-[
Chris:
I'm not sure I'd want to play one of these standing in frgont of a cabinet all day...

Yes.  I have a complete ScummVM set on my cabinet.  No keyboard necessary..   A trackball is a must though, obviously.

I also needed to map the F5 and F1 keys to Shazzam!/shift buttons on my Keywiz in order to properly exit and save my ScummVM games.

I think it's a terrific addition to my cab.. but, I suggest you have a comfortable stool/chair! :)

I got it to work by creating .LNKs which Mamewah ran.  These links were directed to .BATch files which then launched ScummVM and the appropriate game.

The only tricky part... was that you HAVE to setup each game you want to add to your cab within the ScummVM menu before it'll allow you to launch that game from a batch file.

If you need my .ini and a sample .bat file, I can upload them.  But, it's not that tough to figure out.

Well I think it is better to play these games in front of a cab than in front of my pc, thats my point of view.

If you could send all your relevant data to tore.lonoy@gmail.com i would be very happy, all ini files and docs you may have.

Dont have a trackball, so dont know if I can get it to work with a stick.

There are many utilities for emulating a mouse using a joystick (gamepad). But your cab's joystick is probably a keyboard. In that case I believe Windows XP natively has support for translating up/down/left/right arrow keys into mouse movements for disabled users.
