| Heavier Super springs? |
| (1/2) > >> |
| Knievel:
I just did a CP using Randy's Chrome ball-top sticks with Happ Super bases. They are beautiful but little top-heavy, mostly with Mamewah where it's tough to move just one game at a time. Wondering if anyone had ever used a heavier spring in their Supers or any other ideas you might have? |
| quarterstringer:
Since your problem is with Mamewah, have you tried changing the joystick settings in the default file in the ctrlr folder? |
| Knievel:
Hmm no, didn't realize that could be adjusted... I'll take a peek thanks. It's not my machine so I haven't really played any games on it yet, not sure if it's an issue for them. I just noticed the Mamewah quirk when I was testing it out. |
| Kremmit:
Even if Mamewah is where he first noticed the problem, that doesn't mean he won't see it in games, too. A big, tall, heavy handle like that really ought to have a tougher spring. I wonder if the heavy P360 spring could be put in a Super? Or maybe just put 2 super springs inside there? |

I'm pretty sure that Bob Roberts sells a heavy duty super spring. I was planning on ordering one for my replacement handle that I purchased from Groovy but was going to wait until I needed some buttons or something to save on shipping. Cost is $1 if I remember correctly. |
