Stupid Question : Particle Board sealer
<< < (2/3) > >>
DrewKaree:
It sounds as if you're looking for something to give the hole "substance".  Something so that it doesn't enlarge/break apart over time.

Particle board is simply wood chipped up and mixed with glue and pressed to make a nice flat-ish panel.  Why not do the same thing they used to make it and use some epoxy or sandable wood putty?  You can't compress it, but it's the same idea.  There's nothing that's really gonna "soak in" since there's bunches of glue already in the board fighting that process, but you can at least bond the outer layer together like I think you're wanting to do.

If I'm wrong on what you're looking for, disregard this comment. ;D

Although I strongly agree with you in all things political, have you ever tried to paint particle board without "sealing" it with primer first.
DaveDog:
Have to agree with PoDunkMoFunk,

Particle board sucks up more than the dude with the corner office.
