  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
extra fire button
« on: May 01, 2005, 07:00:55 pm »
I am wiring up a multicade cabinet.  I have two fire buttons.  One for right handed and one for left handed players.  What do I wire up the left fire button too?  I wired the right one up to player one button one and the other one I wired up to player one button 2 but it didn't work.  Do I need to wire it up to player two fire button or just tie both fire buttons together to the player one button one.  Please help

both to the same button...this should work unless you've got something wonky going on.  by wonky i mean wiring the same button to two dfferent devices, like two different controllr interfaces. that can kill a computer.  wiring up two buttons to one control is fine though.
