i have my machine running windows xp home and every time i turn it on it does not recognize my ipac4,spinner, and trackball, the spinner and tb are oscars mouse hacks. all three of these are usb. if i take them out and put them back in the computer will recognize them and everything is ok until i turn it off and try to start it again. anyone have any experience with this problem? dirt |

I have, but only when they were attached through a cheap USB hub. Upgrading the hub fixed it! Are they connected directly to the computer or connected through a hub? -sab |

they are connected directly to the computer. also, just to be a little clearer, if i restart the computer the spinner and tb will still work. it is only when i turn off all the power to the cabinet/pc and turn it back on that does not recognize anything plugged into the usb ports. dirt |

Do you know what chipset your motherboard uses? There might be an updated USB driver available. -Ace- |
