This has always perplexed me: when Americans get cold air from the north its called "that cold canadian air" and when they get warm air from the south its "a warm southern front". Was it somehow discussed in years past that air from the north somehow belongs to canadians and we are somehow directing it your way out of some maliciousness?? Why do people in illinois still call it that when it clearly comes from Wisconsin. strange...
