I have almost every figure that has come out to date, and past 1983, most still in the original package. I think I am the largest in pure collection size. Most Dedicated is too difficult to decide. For example, did you buy the trilogy on DVD? I consider that to be blasphemy, and a crime that should be equal to stealing a candy bar, or jaywalking, or somethin... yeah...
I am buying the laserdisc version of star wars, and a laser disc player, simply so I can watch the REAL movies the way they are suppose to be.

I think there is about to be a nerd rumble up in this hizzy.

I already own the original versions on DVD.  Buying 35mm prints of the original trilogy would be a sign of ultimate fandom, buying a LD player and the LDs is a sign of fiscal irresponsibility.

Wouldn't Lucas send Stormtroopers to your house to confiscate them? I know he's a spaz about the "original trilogy."

Eh, the laser disc player is 30-50, and the Laser discs are around 50 on ebay. The box set is around 50. So really, it isn't that irresponsi.... Ok, so it is. When it comes to hobbies, whether star wars or arcade, you don't always consider the absolute fiscal responsibilty. I'm not just doing it to prove my fandom. I really want to watch the movies on Laserdisc.

I'm not going to get into a legal and moral argument about the pirated versions of the trilogy on DVD. I just don't want it for my stuff. I'd rather get the real. If the version you have suffices you, more power to you. I'd prefer my way.
