| What cab was this? |

I got this at an auction yesterday. I know it's a converted Nintendo cab (they left the Nintendo plate on the back of the cab). I don't know what game. The CP looks like a redrilled original CP that appears to have one joystick in the middle and two buttons on either side. There's also one button on the top left corner of the CP. I can't tell anything past that because the buttons and joys are on it now in the Neo Geo configuration. |

single joystick games... Donkey Kong, DK jr., Popeye... You'd have to scratch off the black paint and see the color underneath to know for sure. |

Look again at that side picture, thats no Donkey Kong type cabinet, I don't think it is a Nintendo cabinet at all, Nintendo cabinets are plywood, and thinner than 3/4", and don't have a control panel that pokes out like that. That one looks like 3/4" particle board. My quick opinion is that it is not a Nintendo cabinet at all, coin door is all wrong for Nintendo as well, Nintendo had those large single door setups, not an over/under. The Nintendo plate is probably left over from a previous Vs. System conversion. There is no speaker grill on the control panel either. |

I knew it looked familiar. Dedicated R-Type. So it is Nintendo, but not their common classic cabinet. |
