i don't know about the rest of you, but if i was to build a racing cab, i'd model it after the star wars cockpit cab. it is a bunch of small peices put together, so if you made a replica well enough, you could take it all back apart again if you wanted. |

I think the largest problem with Racing Cabs is they fact that you need to make them fit through a standard house door and/or basement door. I made the GameCab Driver at 30 Inches in width and it will not fit into the front door of my house. To be truthfull, it's really going to be a tight sqeeze making it into the outside basement door of my house. Once the Cabinet finally reaches my basement I will need to totaly remove the door frame and about 3 inches of sheetrock in my gameroom just to bring it to it final resting place. Could you imagine what I would have to go through in order to bring a cockpit cabinet into the Gameroom.... In order to combat this minor problem I'm going to release the final plans with a the 30 inch and 25.5 inch designs. I picked 30 inches because I plan on adding in some lights, gauges and a really nice Knight Rider effect. Just use the above as words of caution to the people who like to get crazy when building (Like Me). It's fun to make a killer cabinet but you need to check the door size first ;D Thanks Charlie |

i looked up the star wars sit down and it will fit through a standard door opening plus its enclosed which gives that cool feeling of game immersion. |

I've a few different sit down cabs, my personal favorite from a design standpoint is a Roadblasters cab. For a one piece sitdown it's actually easy to move around, with the monitor removed you can stand it on one end and pick it up with a dolly. It's not much heavier than a upright, and being designed around a 19" monitor it's narrow enough to fit through 3' doors. |

Gamecab I was looking at the cab on your site and at the end of the description you talk about an interact force feedback vest. Do you have a link for a description of the vest? I googled it but didn't find anything. Thanks |
