Can you imagine the looks on financer's faces?

"You want how much to do WHAT?!?"

Picture your wife at a dinner party

"Those earrings are beautiful, where ever did you get them?"

"These?  Oh, they're my grandmother"

"Your grandmother's??

"No, my grandmother.  No "S".  They're "her"

If those are like Thunder Cats, you may have stumbled upon the sheer genius of this idea!

This is gonna sound SO out-to-lunch crazy, but I found that site because I was looking for examples of License plate address books.  I know what you're saying to yourself right now.... ??? ??? ???

First, here's a pic of what THOSE are:

Upon Googling 'em, I came across this guy's site:
Seriously, BenjaminDover dot com!  How can a guy NOT click that link?!

And lo and behold, turn gramma into earrings was linked on his site!

The things you find while looking for something totally unrelated, hey? :D

Holy crap, they have two partner businesses within 5 minutes of my house.

I actually kind of like the idea.  Have a gem made of my remains and have it flung into the ocean, maybe to turn up 500 years from now to someone who has no idea it's me.

If you flung a gem into the ocean it would degrade.

Combination of the salt acting on it, plus - yes - friction from the tides.
