Arcade Bones (Marquee & Dashboard graphics finalised)
Bones:
Yesterday I applied two coats of undercoat over the top of my previously sanded and primed white surface. The undercoat is basically white with a black tint added to produce a grey finish. This was necessary in order to obtain the final colour I have chosen for my cab.
It was later explained to me that the original MDF sealer I used could have had the black tint added which would have reduced much of the previous work and help keep cost down.
At first I was a little pissed about not realising this but considering the problems I had along the way with the putty expanding, the amount of work and paint used would not have changed anyway.
The cab photo pretty much looks white not grey so I have included my paint stirrer which is in fact white and the difference can easily be seen.

I suppose I will take that as a compliment!
I have worked incredibly hard in the painting department and invested much more time than I thought it would initially require so I am optimistic for good results....
