You don't know joy until you've played 4 player Warlords.
Lilwolf:
Star Trek and Blasteroids.
Tempest of course
And I've spent more on a controller which is ONLY good for one game (720)... Don't regret it.
Wish I spent more on starwars controllers 4 years ago when I started looking. At todays prices I would be rich and powerful and would control the entire scene! "What? you want a yoke? Well, clean my car and make me a cocktail table!"

I'm sure that it's great to have for games like Tempest and Tron, but those are the only Spinner-Enabled roms I've played, and I've only played those games using alternate control setups on my PC. I doubt that I'll be able to put a spinner into my first attempt because they're so freakin' expensive, but I might consider it on a future project, possibly.

you can get them as cheep as $20.00

I am not kidding. My house (wife I think) is swiping all my stuff! >:(

$64 for an www.oscarcontrols.com V2 and his mouse hack. And even if Tempest were the ONLY spinner game, that would be reason enough for me.
Jabba:
Don't forget Kick. It also uses a spinner.
Impossible to play it without a spinner.
And I agree with the others, Tempest and Arkanoid are reason enough...
