I justhad my trackball refitted with new optics asit was dead before. I boot up the computer, USB finds an Unknown Device. Reboot w/ PS/2, nothing... what's wrong? ??? Can I replace the Unknown Device driver manually or is thistrackball shot? (It was brandnew too >:() |

Sorry I assume too much. Standard Happ 3" with USB and PS/2 interface (happ's) bought off eBay brand new. Machine is a Windows XP SP2 |

No, what that means is that Windows does not know what is hooked up. If you install the correct drivers for it, then every time you plug it in from then on, Windows WILL know what it is. So find the drivers. |
