Google ups its storage to 2 gigs

Just was cleaning out the detritus in my Gmail account, and noticed they upped the storage to 2 gigs.  Other enhancements include integrating with Picasa for picture management, and some various minor improvements including POP3 access and Basic HTML properties.

Would you like a gmail account?  Here's how to get one....stay with me kiddies, follow these instructions and you too can obtain some gmail goodness from the members generous enough to grant it to you.  Step by step, here it is:

How to get your very own Gmail account

1.  Look at the top of your screen.  Scroll up if necessary.  Locate the "search" box.

2.  In that "search" box, type in the word "gmail", omit (remove) the quotes.

3.  Select one of the SEVEN threads offering to give away a Gmail account

4.  In one of the SEVEN threads, select a member you wish to ask for an invite

5.  Follow that member's wishes on how to contact them to obtain an invite.

6.  NEVER EVER EVER NEVER EVER NEVER post another "I have gmail invites to give away".  Reuse one of the SEVEN older threads instead.  Raise that friggen 6 month old thread instead of wasting more space with an EIGHTH duplicate thread

7.  See step 6.  Repeat.  When coming back to this step, continue to follow this step.
