Joystick opinions get requested every few days it seems. |

Also, joystick preferences can vary by game. I like Wicos for games that require circular movement, and the T-stiks for games that require 8 distinct directions. Competitions are good for fighters, but not so good for most other 8-way games. Each stick really has a niche, which is why I chose to go modular. That way I can PICK which stick to use on which game, and not have to worry about finding that one-stick-does-all solution. |

In general, I like the balltop t-stick plus with standard switches. I HATED the light action sticks. Recently I had a bunch of people playing different sticks, it was a toss up between the balltop t-stick plus and the bat switch. Also, there is no FEEL difference between the t-stick and the plus, so there's no good reason (other than price) to get JUST the t-stick. If you want underpanel adjustment, you can still do that with the t-stick plus in addition to the overpanel adjustment. |
