Baddest Mouse I've ever seen!
shmokes:
I'll second the MX1000. I got one for Christmas and it is far better than any other mouse I've used. I wanted an MX700 for a long time, but couldn't justify the purchase cos my old standby Microsoft Optical worked as well as the day I got it. After using the MX1000 on a daily basis I'm sure that purchasing an MX700 would have been worth it. Anyway, yeah. I'd recommend MX1000 over this MX518 mainly because it's an excellent gaming mouse (though without the dpi buttons) and it's wireless which is a huge bonus.
...and so on.

That's what I said about my old mouse.....until it went crap-side up and I can't find anyone that sells 'em anymore, and was forced to switch to something else :'(
I prefer trackballs for web use, and had a nice wireless Logitech, and all they sell are the damn corded versions. Actually, I prefer trackballs for just about any use, since they're easier on my hand.

Well everyone has a different feel. I think the MX1000 is the most comfortable mouse I've ever used.
I still have to disagree about the N52 as a gimmick though. The pistolmouse... thats a gimmick lol. Things like that I'd consider a gimmick. I know the N52 is a love it/hate it type thing. I've met a bunch of people who can't stand them. However, they work. I can play just as good with my N52 as I can with my keyboard.
I will agree though that some games simply play better with a ton of bindings, and the N52 won't work there. For most games, it's simply more comfortable for me.

Why would you need a wireless trackball? Doesn't it just sit in one spot?
edit: By the way, here are some wireless logitech trackballs. Maybe one of them is the right one.
