Just a couple more questions:

1. Are the prices listed for a certain kind of setup? For instance, is there a price difference between a Konami Windy with a 1-player 4-button setup versus a Windy with a 2-player 7-button setup?

2. Are the button holes for the drilled for sanwa buttons (30mm regular / 24mm start buttons)? They appear so in your picture here but i just want to make sure.

I'm all set to buy one and just want to get everything squared away. Provided everything's fine, what would be a good time to come and check out a machine? Thanks (for putting up with all my questions

I can vouch that the cabs may need a little work once they've been received as I recently received a used cab from COE

didn't need a whole new panel, but I did need to replace both sticks and 12 mis-matched buttons, the monitor - although it was working it emmitted a terrible high pitch noise that changed in tone ( I had a thread about it a couple of months ago) and I have had to have some work done to the chassis & have the flyback cleaned up and re-inserted into the chassis

not trying to piss on anyones parade or anything here but these are issues that you should take note off

sorry did not reply to you sooner, did you need buttons and joy. i have yellow and red buttons for you if you want them

how do i get a hold of "orbit logisitics" (are they a shipping company?).

any chance you'll still have some of these machines in a couple weeks? i am currently moneyless until the end of the month.

what is that?

It's a cabinet made by Namco. 29" monitor, JAMMA2, LED Marquee, The Cyberlead II has the same thing but the monitor is 29" 15/24/31khz and has slots for Dreamcast and playstation save game cards.

Yup. I'll take some pictures once my Ehrgeiz board gets here but I went and picked up my Konami Windy this past Sunday. As for dealing with him, you couldn't ask for someone better. Every question I asked of him he answered pretty quickly and went more than out of the way to get me exactly the cabinet I wanted.

Of course, I have it a little better than most since we're only about 25-30 miles apart.

i can get you the egret 2, but since i will only be getting 1 unit, i will need a deposit. It will take up to 3 weeks to have it shipped from Asia. if that is ok with you please e-mail me and i can get you a price.

i recently got a quote from Orbit for about $350 but for up to 2 cabinets. so for one it might be a bit pricecy but if you want 2 it would be worth it.

True on the fees. If you bring 3 games though, you get in free, you just have to email the organizers and there saves the admission. You could advertise the Craigslist route as well. Pre-sell a bunch of them before you arrive and have some extras to sell. I'd buy 2 of the 200 cabs for sure, hell, maybe 4.

my last quote for 2 cabs to tx was $335. Let me know your zip code so I can get you a definative answer.

My zip is 77546... IAH is 77032. I would have no problem driving to the airport to pick things up if shipping there would be cheaper than shipping directly to me.
