Tailgunner, thanks, but you got 2 differnt q's a bit jumbled.
I was asking about this...
Since the y 'box' is smaller, it means that the hand-grips y-axis 'PIVOT' is located like 4 inches closer (to the front of the base) than the original.
If you press the hand grips forward, then turn the x-axis to 45dergee angle... your fingers may just get crushed into the base of the unit... which currently is less than 1cm away from the grips at a non forward postion.
I would hope that the ybox is extended so that the yaxis can be moved further away, so clearences will be adequate and also, will look a lot better imop.

Again, you could mount the whole thing to a small wood box (like Charlie's first yoke), and get the same effect. I have his original yoke, and this works well.
This method also allows it to be mounted to a panel that is not slanted like the original SW cab (which is the vast majority of cabs out there). Otherwise, you would probably need a dedicated cabinet to mount this to.

Not yet. I've been very busy with other issues that are not GameCab related for a few months now. I'm looking to pick up where I left off laterthis week. Please ignore the Yoke section of the website because it is very out of date. I'm going to update the site in the coming days if time allows.
Thanks
