Found an optical microswitch

Paladin:
Just thought I'd post a message about an optical switch I stumbled upon.

Silent microswitch joys and buttons.  I'm in.  How much :)

I googled NAC and 130K26080 but couldn't come up with anything.   Anyone?

I bet that is a special switch made especially for xerox by cherry.  I wonder why they would need an optical switch in that situation as opposed to just a regular snap switch.  Seems a tad over engineered to me.  I would love to play around with some of those but I fear thats something you would need to contact cherry about and probably order quite a lot.  :(
rdagger:
It looks like it uses a phototransistor optical interrupter switch.
