Happ's USB Interface for Trackballs & W2K/XP?
« on: May 10, 2002, 05:27:03 am »
Hi!

Has anyone ever tried if the Happ's USB-Trackball-interface works with Win2000 and/or XP?
I think USB is better when looking forward for future possibilities (hell, they even make the first mainboards without any COM-ports, thats not my idea!).

Happ's Interface was the only USB-one I've found for connecting trackballs, and they state only compatibility for Win98 & Mac. For now I'll go with W98 anyway, but for improved stability I might want to go for Win2000 or XP some day.

I have a Happ's 2 1/2" Trackball with PS/2 & USB interface.  I am running WinXP & the trackball was immediately recognized & worked flawlessly on the first try...including the pushbuttons.

Good luck!
