Just a few more pics.

To the admins:  Sorry if I'm posting to many pics you can delete them if you want or I can take some down once they get identified.

That's a Happ ultimate, and you're missing the e-clip to go into that last groove in the bottom. Only reason to remove it is if you want to take the joystick handle out.

Also, those really aren't the best sticks out there, not by a long shot. You would probably be happier if you just bought new sticks.

If you want to use those, it'll cost you about 25 cents for a new e-clip at a hardware store.

If you want to get some new ones, I recommend Happs Super if you wanna stick with the same manufacturer.

Looks like it might also be missing the white barrel spacer that has two sides... one for wood one for metal.

And don't listen to everyone.   They aren't all that bad.  You will be happy with it until you have something to compare it to..  I used one for years.  I didn't have a problem with them until I bought some supers for another control panel... and realized that I liked them better.  When you don't have anything to compare them too they are fine.

I would go with a happs comp if you like corners (when you rotate the stick, you can feel where upleft is) and a happs super for free spinning (smooth corners) these are better for gyrus and timepilot.    But if you want to get fancy, you might pick up one of those top change 4way 8way sticks from ultramarc.  They have a very short throw (ESPECIALLY compared to an ultimate) but are good sticks... and the coolness of swapping between 4way and 8way without opening the cab is worth it.

Those sticks are fine for lots of different games, but unfortunately they are terribly for quite a few (like Time Pilot). The main problem is simply that they really favor the diagonals. That is fine for games like TMNT, but for circle games (like Robotron and Time Pilot), they are terrible, and they are super terrible for games where the difference between up-right and up means a dead character.

They're not bad, but I prefer the supers over the ultimates. You can get a good deal on supers through Ponyboy, check the b/s/t forum.

E clips are 25 cents at home depot.  Just go in with the joystick handle and you'll fine one.  make sure its tight.
