Where is the best/cheapest store to pick up rj45 crimp heads and the actual crimping tool. I have large amounts of cat 5 and a date for a lan party but no way to network it with put making some ethernet cables.

try newegg.com

They have a cheap crimper for about $10, and you should be able to get more rj-45 connectors than you'll need for about the same price.

Completely forgot about Graybar - nice one Tailgunner.

Graybar Locations in MI:

MI      Auburn Hills (Detroit), MI
MI    Belleville, MI
MI    East Livonia, MI
MI    Flint, MI
MI    Grand Rapids, MI
MI    Lansing, MI

Don't know if one of these is near you, but aside from mail order, these guyus are tough to beat. Kinda bummed that there isn't one anywhere near me anymore.

Heh, thanks. I've always dealt with Graybar because they carry first rate telco equipment. Tools, cable, connectors, punchblocks, if it's used in telecommunications you can buy it from Graybar.
