klov user registration broken?

I tried registering a userid on KLOV.com twice, and both times it doesn't work.  At first I thought maybe it has a problem with underscores or periods in the name ("Dave_K.") but I tried to do another with "DaveK408" and its still not working.  I got the confirmation email and everything.  I can even log into the account mgmt menu using my email address and the password (accepts my password and  email fine) but I still can't login using the username I setup.

I sent KLOV 2 email msgs, and a week later still no response.  So what is up with that board!? or is it me??

Well, I am the moderator of the more busy sections of the forum there, but unfortunately I can't do anything about registrations.

Try it again with a simple name with no caps or underscores and see what happens. We get new spammers there every day, so the registrations are definitely working.

Maybe it's one of those sites that needs cookies turned on?

Thanks, but tried that too. :-[  Now I have to go throught the trouble of creating a bogus email account just to try registering yet again...

Ok I created yet another yahoo email address and registered a username on klov all in lower case with no digits or funny characters and it finally works.   Pretty lame if you ask me...
