I am ramping up for my UAII build. Did the HD/Lowes run got my saw blades and router bits and everything. My question is for the T-molding, Im using 3/4 MDF and standard laminate (width ? 1/16 maybe) what size T-molding should I be looking for the takes the laminate into account. I know 1/16+1/16+3/4=7/8 but I don't think the laminate is really 1/16 just wondering if someone has already run into this and what the solution was?

I remember having the same issue as UA2 cab calls for a size MDF that NO ONE carries. I used the 3/4" MDF and the T-molding from happs fits just fine- with or without laminate- laminated my CP and painted the rest/ seems to fit equally well for both- though it may be because I first painted my CP, then I sanded the hell out of it to get back to bare wood.

Your best bet is to do a practice piece.  Get a scrap of wood , laminate that first then cut your center t-mold line.  Worst case scenario you will need to off set the center line ever so slightly to compensate for the laminate.  I didnt have to worry about this though.
