Capacitors C313 (100 uf @ 160 volts) and C701 (1000 uf @ 25 volts) cause vertical height problems when they go bad.

You could buy one of the Wei-ya replacement chassis that retrofits the Electrohomes from either one of these guys:

http://www.home.earthlink.net/~video1963/id1.html

http://yp.bellsouth.com/sites/alvaamusement/

One of those chassis would repair your old CAO and it comes with full instructions. Plus the replacement chassis uses negative sync!

Just ordered one from Alva yesterday, thanks.   It only cost ~$58 with shipping for the G07 replacement.  Seriously, if you want the CAO chassis let me know (free for you).  Otherwise it'll go up on ebay.

Ken Layton:

No, I don't need it. Thanks for the offer though. :) Go ahead and ebay it and hopefully it'll bring you some money to offset what you've spent on the CAO. Let us all know how your new Wei-ya chassis works & how you like it.
