Coin Door lamps
« on: March 04, 2005, 11:25:24 am »
I blew my coin door lamps by giving them 12v instead of the 6v they were looking for  :P
They actually worked ultra bright for a couple of hours then gave up.
I want to get some replacements; but I only need two, I don't want to buy a whole box of them or have to order them online.

Can I buy similar lamps in a local auto shop or somewhere? I have the lamp number written down here somewhere...

Don't know what kind your uses, but the lamps in Midway coin doors are available at any auto parts place. Can't think of the number off the top of my head, but you can bring one in with you and they can fix you up.

Cool. I'll do that.

I like the new avatar by the way.

If they are wedge base get #159, #259, or #555 miniature lamps. If they are bayonet base then use # 47, #44, or #1847 miniature lamps.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure 1847s are the ones I use.
