| How to fix optical PCBs for Happs Trackball |

Does anyone know how to actually fix the optical pcb's? Where to get the special optical transistors and parts to fix a happs cheap? Not a mouse hack, but actually fix one that's fried? |

I know you can by the entire optical PCB, but I was talking about just the optical transistor. I can't find the source for those. See, the optical PCB's cost about $12 ea. I think those transistors cost about $0.50 Anybody ever Fix the optical pcb and have tips? |

You can make one fairly easy. Check out Oscar's website, or maybe it was ultimarc, I know one of them has a tutorial on how to make one. |

It depends on the optics of the trackball to work. Mostly people just replace them when the go bad, but man, it has to be easy to fix it. I coudn't find a schematic parts list for the board. |
