Sheesh you guys make me sick!  Here's my gameroom;

1.  Upright MAME cab
2.  See #1

That's awesome!  Let's see some pics.

I do aspire to add

3.  dedicated driving cab/cockpit
4.  Pinball (TBD)

but these will take some time.  Can't wait tho!  But then again my plans probably will change.  Guaranteed some sort of cab down the road.

Post some pics!

Me too.  I don't have much room, and my old comic book collection is taking up the space where I could add something.  If I had the room, I would do the cockpit, and 3 pins.  STTNG,  High Speed, and Pin-Bot

Nothing fancy, just the standards in mine:

Chess
Checkers
Monopoly
Clue
Stratego
Risk
 ;)

Seriously though, I'm envious. I live in a small townhouse, so no gameroom yet. I aspire to be like you guys. My plans for the future are a mame cab and a Chexx bubble hockey. "Do you believe in Miracles?"

I'd like to see some pics of your stocked gamerooms also.

gozur i think you have the best machine of them all, of course i am talking about the snow cone machine. where did you get it? i would be the happiest man on earth if i could have a snow cone anytime i wanted.

as far as pictures go i had to move all the games out to the garage. i am going to start drywalling the garage and turning it into my gameroom. i will post some pictures of the progress as soon as it starts. i think my gameroom will be the only one with a '53 ford custom in it. i little consection but i do love my car as much as my games, maybe even more, so they will each have half the garage.

1. Junk (Really. So much.)
2. Console stuff aplenty (Nintendo, SEGA, Atari, Coleco, Playstation, XBOX, NeoGeo... seriously, you name it, I have it.)
3. The computer (Sony VAIO 1.6ghz, Radeon 9200)

My MAME cab is in the living room, since I'm not gonna carry that heavy beast upstairs.  :P

Smart & Final / Cash & Carry sells them.

I'm pretty sure I saw one in SoCal last time I was down that direction. From what I understand, not all of their retail location stocks them, but they can all order them. My location in SJ stocked it, so I didnt have to pay frieght which is good, because the grinder is industrial and weighs in at about 40lbs.

I have some outdated pictures, and like Dirt am doing some dry wall work in the game room. Last month I built and attic for storing holiday crap for the wife and now I am building a hidden shelf / closet area. I can probably snap more current pix in the next 2 - 3 weeks.

I have to admit... all I have (so far) is the one cab... but, there are plans for more.  I'm just waiting for the right time to start on my other project ideas.  Living in a 2 bedroom apt isn't my idea of long term living...  hopefully will be looking for a place to call home in about a year....

My game room is tiny... it was meant to be a formal dining room, so it's only something like 10x12.  It contains my MAME cabinet, a 3-in-1 game table (foosball, pool, air hockey), a basketball game that folds back up into a cabinet in the wall and a dartboard.

Is that you true Nanna or just a lifesized cardboard cutout?  She seems very happy to be a part of your gameroom.....

My game room doesn't compare to most of yours  :o
But, it's a start.

Right now I have:
--Mame cab (was 4-player Simpsons, converted to Soul Calibur, then Mamed)
--7ft Air hockey table
--Foosball table (Deutscher Meister coin op that was badly water damaged. Had to rebuild a lot of the pices)
Electronic dartboard.

Still need to add wall decore and stools and tables to put drinks on.

Oops...will have to post the picture later. It's at home and I'm at work.  ::)

Asteroids Upright, Dreamcast Upright, Konami cab being converted to MAME, Buccaneer pinball, Flash Gordon pinball, Skill Stop Slot machine, Air-hockey table, Gumball machine, and a Big Screen for console gaming.  The kids have a DDR metal pad for the Big Screen.  Possibly coming soon is BiPlane upright cab.  I would also like to add an NFL Blitz cab.
Please!  Give me the good news first!

Big furniture type Mame with Frankenpanel.
Super Neo 29" Candy (Currently running Time Pilot '84, usually running Neo Geo or Mr. Driller 2).
Sega Turbo upright - Nicest one I have ever seen, but it misspells every word in the game with the exception of the phrase "cars passed".
Multi-Williams in Defender cabinet.
Midway Mame cocktail (Gorf cabinet, but 4-way sticks).
A broken Pong clone
Space War (Vectorbeam).

And no car, someone stole my car today.

My bet is that it was stolen by the guys I bought it from, I assume they will find it minus stereo and with the fancy wheels missing. The sucker isn't worth enough money to steal for the car itself.

I hope my bible is still in there when they find it, it is the same one I have had for years, and I had a lot of stuff written in it.

Mav

I am with you! I am moving in August into my first house. I've been out of my parents house for 4-5 years now, all apartments. I will have a basement in this house, and thus my 'gameroom' that I've always wanted will begin. But I do agree with your choice of equipment. I've always wanted, first and fore-most, and Bubble Hockey game, and not a cheesey one. One of the kinds in the arcade, the heavy duty Super Chexx kind. Cannot wait for that!

But, since the Super Chexx games go for almost $3,000.00 and I'll be buying  a house that'll have to wait. What I am gonna do is build my own Mame Arcade Cabinet. I've been reading up on it and starting to acquire the software needed, but it's still gonna be quite the process.
Why the Hell are they Blinking!?!?

My "gameroom" is my bedroom.  It contains:

A gaming PC (that is used surprisingly little, aside from emulation)
N64
PSX
Dreamcast
Gamecube
NES
SNES
Genesis
27" tv (all that will fit in there)

And after this weekend: my 4 player Mame cab (sans artwork).

What does 6-player air hockey look like?

I nearly bought a Dynamo air hockey table, but decided very quickly that it wouldn't make it up the stairs. DAMN THOSE STARES!!!

Regulation size pool table
Arachnid Cricket Master 800 Electronic Dart board
Bar type steel tip dart board
Arkanoid
Asteroids Deluxe original
Bud Tapper in Root Beer Cabinet
TMNT 4 player
Mame machine in Mortal Kombat II cabinet
Capcom Bowling in a centipede cabinet with the centipede original side art
51 inch wide screen tv with definitive technology speakers, Denon receiver with ATI external 5 channel amp
3 NEC 29 inch professional display monitors for use with 2 modded xbox, 2 dreamcasts, gamcube and 4 or so computers ready for networking and good lod fashioned duke nukem and blood deathmatch.
Would like to add a crazy climber cabinet and/or a shuffleboard table, but both appear to be cost prohibitive at the moment.

The unit can be used with only 1 bottle, you don't have to do all three.  But hey, before we get off topic, let's let him explain!

Yeah, though it's still using up a lot of electricity/space for one chilled drink when you can put a bottle in the freezer.  I'm thinking he may have something else.

I really like Who Dunnit, it has great minigames and use of the DMD.  That telephone shot is just about the right difficulty, hard enough to take some skill but not so hard that it makes you want to burn the machine.

Doesn't that take up way more power than it's worth to keep soda cold?

i would think this wouldn't be that good of a hobby if we cared about power consumption.  If we can afford to power up entire game rooms, i doubt a soda or Jagermeister machine is gonna break the bank.

The Jagr machine doesn't take up much power, keeping a couple of little bottles cold.  A real soda machine, on the other hand, can add much $$ to your electric bill.  It consumes a LOT more power than a little fridge.

I really wouldn't know.  I tend to only run the coke machine when we have guest or my nieces are over.  The coke machine use the old glass bottles and they are NOT cheap.......so we don't drink them a whole lot.  Still trying to find a decent beer that will fit the machine........then it will be on longer!

no crap, and I dispute the listed alcohol content.

Maybe you could try those, and some 375ml bottles.  It doesn't have to be beer!  Have a hard liquor machine.  Fill it with schnapps.

I would like a schnapps vending machine.... ooh, and some Goldschlager.

Hopefully a MAME cabinet will grace my gameroom soon. For now, I have:

25" stereo TV
Williams 1975 Space Mission Pinball Machine
Fill size air hockey table
Digital dartboard
Sega Genesis
NES
PS2
Technics sound system

Very envious of those of you who posses the wonderful GALAGA cabinet....

I myself own these :

Cruisin USA sitdown (single)
Criss Cross (2player trivia game, built in UK but with Swedish questions)
Championship Spint
Gauntlet II
Xybots
Marble Madness
Neo Geo Candy (25"monitor)
"Aleph" wallmounted 14" cabinet
2pc generic cabinets, one vertical and one horisontal (brand new monitors coming next week for both these)

and Rally X in bad shape now but needing only sidearts and a litte work, Ive got the rest...
And you're envious of someone with a Galaga?  :o

Galaga is almost everything madness talks about, so I'm not surprised he's envious on you who have one of those.  ;D
They are extremely rare over here in Sweden, so it's not that easy to get one - I would say it's close to impossible...

My Gameroom consists of

Snooker Pool Table
Ping Pong Table
Fooseball Table (From Italy)

Video Game Room

Atari 2600 (10+ Games)
NES (96 Games)
SNES (70 Games)
N64 (31 Games)
Gameboy (10 Games)
Gameboy Color (3 Games)
Gameboy Advance (6 Games)
Gamecube (20+ Games)
Sega Master System (10+ Games)
Sega Genesis (3 Games)
Sega GameGear (10+ Games)
Playstation 2 (20+ Games)

I have NO ARCADE GAMES.... Just MAME on my computer.

Damn it that needs to change! Right now im designing a 4 Player deluxe panel thats gonna ---smurfette--- slap my bank account.

I can't find a good condition arcade game for under $200 in the Toronto area. $200 isnt too much money, but thats my student budget limit!

As of yesterday my gameroom (aka living room) now contain these games:

Point Blank
Operation Wolf 3
Power Drift
Nevada Magic - currently running my vertical PCB's
Nevada Magic - currently running my horizontal PCB's

and my pride and joy - Gauntlet with both Gauntlet and Gauntlet II PCB's.

Oh, and my kitchen are housing two wall-mounted small cabinets that are in "project-state". One of them will be a generic cabinet, and the other one I'll use for MAME just to try out games before I buy them as PCB's - I'm not much for MAME myself.

Here's an old picture of one of my Nevada cabinets for those of you who haven't heard of them.
I also threw in an old picture of one of my wall-mounted cabinets.

I haven't heard of a Nevada Magic's before.  Any more details?  I'm assuming they're setup to run multiple PCB's and were in casino game rooms?

Those wall-mounts look very cool!  Nickel slots?

I don't have that much info regarding the Nevada cabinets, but I have managed to dig up an old scan of a flyer or something similar. As far as I know there are no more than three of these here in Sweden, and I own two of them :)
I belive they were made by Italian G.N.E. Videoiochi at one time or another - if you look at their Magnum cabinet ( http://www.gnevideogiochi.it/corpo.asp?L=0&C=0&R=1&M=89&S=67&Redirect=/corpo/oggetto.asp ) it's almost the same.

Those wall-mounts look very cool!  Nickel slots?

No, they take Swedish 5-krona, I'm not sure the coin acceptors are working though. Both these cabinets are in a yet-to-start-project status.

Next time you guys come over, I'm going to have you guys sign something. I am kicking myself because I had Gamefixer from KLOV in my actual game room, and I didn't even take a picture.

Currently in the man/kid/wife cave......

Nintendo DK JR  with a MAME & MALA set up for vertical games. (LCD)
Nintendo DK with a 60-in-1 (LCD)
Nintendo Popeye with a Pandora's Box 3 and 24" LCD monitor.
Nintendo Mario Bros (non wide body) with a 21" CRT, MAME & MALA set up.
Perhaps the best cabinet in the basement, it has MAME & MALA, but has
also been set up with emulation for NES, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis,
and Turbro GRAFX 16. In addition to the emulators it also has a pair of
Aim Trak light guns housed in GunCon shells. It's still a W.I.P as I've not
yet finished all the emulator configuration.
I've also got a FAS Foosball table, and 23" Gateway, all-in-1 touch screen PC
set up and running exclusively Touch Jams. It's connected to my existing 5.1
audio system via a Bluetooth transmitter. I'm quite happy with the jukebox set up.
I've got a Bad Dudes and a Final Fight in the garage yet to make it into the house.
Lastly a Nintendo style bartop cabinet that has been FOREVER a work in progress.
It's going to Punch-Out themed and feature a Raspberry Pi 3 for the internals.
I've got custom artwork for it, and I think it will look AMAZING when done...it's just
time......no time !

Over and above the cabinets I have some custom artwork by a local graffiti artist.
I also have a little more artwork, including a set of prints from an awesome stencil
artist named 1B4. Sprinkled thru the space are various odds and ends including a triple
Beaver gumball machine on a stand. Assorted video game consoles including NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube,
Wii, XBOX, XBOX 360, Sony Playstation 1,2, and 3. Rounding out the consoles are a NES Classic (modded),
SNES Classic (modded), an OUYA and Retron1, Retron5, @Games Sega Genesis, and a Raspberry Pi3 in a
mini Sega Genesis USB hub.

A few other toys make up the rest of the space, from some of my old Transformers, to GI Joe's, and original
TMNT toys. I've got an Omnibot on display (as he doesn't move.....boo!), some old WWF LJN figures and random
stuff I find on the cheap. All in all I think it is a great space. It's the reason I do not want to move from
my place.

I'll post some pics later today.

Here is a video from a few years ago. It has changed a little

My little hideaway. My sega rally needs some work and since this pic the motherboard has developed a problem which I will be sending off for repair in the next month or so. Then once fixed I'm unsure if I should sell my Sega Rally
