Anyone live in the Omaha Nebraska area?
MinerAl:
Nebraska Technical Services I think...
They are behind a bar, but there is a big sign. They're right across F street from the city impound lot. You do, in fact, just walk in and buy stuff. They have a show room with about 35 market-priced upright games, pinballs, bar-tops, juke boxes, and dart boards. They are a route entertainment machine company.
They are also a great place to find juke box-used CDs and dart equipment.
I do occasionally return to Omaha. I still have a bunch of friends and family there.

Most game problems can usually be rather quickly diagnosed as power supply, PCB, or monitor. ANYONE can replace a switching power supply, if the problem is a linear power supply, PCB, or monitor then you can send out the ps, PCB, or monitor chassis for repair cheaper than having most local techs fix it.

Hey, thanks for the heads up...i checked out that NTS place yesterday....it's pretty cool. Lots of games and game supplies. Unfortunately, the guy who handles the pricing of the stuff was out of town until Monday, so i'm going back then.
The only thing of interest to me that they had was an Original PacMan cabinet, but it had a Mrs PacMan Marquee and the Mrs Pacman game in it...not sure what they wanted for it, but the tech guessed between 800.00 to 1000.00. Seems a little high to me for a cabinet with the wrong game but maybe i can talk them down. They had some other cool games too like a cocktail galaga and MKII, Pole Position and Pole Position II, and a bunch of others, but the pacman was the only one i was considering getting....we'll see.
Hey, do you know alot about arcade game repairs?? Do you think the next time you come to Omaha, you could install a high score save kit in my SuperPacMan game??

I live in Omaha. I'm about 90% done with my mame cabinet.
