A few years back I was the buyer for Taito. I purchased tons of Ultimate Joysticks from Happ. I have never seen that shade of blue. Ponyboy. |

quaterback, Yes, but it sounds as if the buttons aren't even Happ Controls buttons... not just the switches. |

--- Quote from: stevejt on February 06, 2005, 10:30:41 pm ---I bought an x arcade package, and the buttons came just like that, they are in little zip loc bags, the button nuts are in a seperate bag, and the switches, (black and tan) in another bag. They definately look like x arcade. Also in the pic, you can see the black are definately shorter than the red and white ones. --- End quote --- Ditto. I don't think X-Arcade even offers red buttons. --- Quote from: HarumaN on February 06, 2005, 10:18:40 pm ---X-arcade buttons aren't that bad, IMHO... --- End quote --- Ditto I bought the X-Arcade package becuase it was a sweet deal and don't have any complaints so far. Have you received them yet? If so, I believe the X-Arcade switches were stamped with "X-Arcade" on the side. Was the seller dishonest? Maybe. Were you ripped off? That's for you to decide. |

To be fair the seller may genuinly believe they are Happ buttons. However, the yellow microswitches do look like the type that are normally supplied with clone parts. Ask the seller whether the buttons have an IL symbol on the bit of plastic that the microswitches clip on to. If they do then they are probably genuine Happ buttons (actually made by Industrias Lorenzo hence the IL symbol). If not then they are probably X-Arcade buttons. |
