Controls Lock Up Mid-Game
« on: February 05, 2005, 09:16:24 pm »
Not sure where to start on this one. I'm running Mamewah 1.61, Mame v80 right now on my PIII, 1ghz computer running Windows XP.

The last few days when I've had problems with the keyboard locking up.  Sometimes it's in Mamewah and then I can't do anything, even exiting.  It just happened now playing a game and it just froze.  The controls wouldn't do anything at all.  I had to reboot to get control.

Any ideas where to start on this one?  I really want this to be stable enough for people to play when they come over and this is a real problem.

Try MAME from a commandline to see if MAMEWAH is causing the problem or not.

If it is, then try using the {safelaunch} flag in your commandline_format.
