I know many have used wood and metal for overlays (even saw one with glass!), but would it be possible (and how hard) to make a control panel out of plexiglas/lexan/acrilic/perspex? It is intended for a desktop panel, not for a cabinet. ive got an ipac4, 25 btns, 2 joys and a whole lot of wires ;) |

I know you can buy tinted plexiglass or lexan in black (see through), blue, red, etc. I think it would be pretty easy to do and would look pretty nice if you were careful. Even if you use like 1/2" or 3/4", it would probably still be lighter that mdf too! |
