monitor mounting, positioning

I'm at the 'monitor-mounting' phase of my cabinet and found the details of this step a bit lean in the book.

Scanner:
    I too found this part a little vague.

Scanner:
I was going to go with the smoked glass as well but the my monitor looked so great I didn't want to cloud it up with the glass.
