Usedelectronics, That looks awesome. I have a couple questions that other might be wondering as well though. Does the bottom have screws to remove it or is the top hinged? Also, is the underside routed for joystick? And, what type of joystick is that you have in there, and where might I be able to purchase one? Thanks, -Dweebs |

As far as I know the boxes don't come pre-assembled so if you wanted a hinge you could just go down to home depot to put one on there when your putting the box together. Same thing for the screws on the bottom. The joystick looks like it is either a Wico 8-Way or a Happ P360 with a Wico Ball Top. |

The prototype units (Like the one pictured, and the one your getting Dweebs0r) Are not routed for the joystick, because they're set up for Happs parts. The general idea of the box is that the top, front, rear, and sides are all glued together. The bottom can be drilled and screwed on for access. As for the joystick pictured in my example, it is a Wico 8 way microleaf. (Good eye Spiffy.) They are available on ebay from time to time. |

I am nearly ready to kick off the actual group buy, as the materials, and Cad files are all ready to go. There is a SLIM possibility that I can get the wooden tops replaced with laser cut steel panels instead. This would alleviate the need to rig the pop-in sanwa buttons being rigged into a incorrect panel thickness, and preserve the joystick height. If this were possible, it would add $5 to 10 dollars to the price of the joystick. Would you be more interested, or prefer the routered wood panel? |

Wow, that would be great. Who is arranging the group buy so I can contact him on further detail? Id really like to be part of this. |
